The Games Room

The heart of the business and the best place to start any attempt at explaining of what we're about...

Currently the games area is large enough to comfortably accommodate six 6′x4′ wargames tables (about two-thirds of the room is visible in the photograph).

When ...?

We took over the building late in January 2004, started trading on a very small scale in the middle of February and formally opened for business on 15th March 2004. In reality we are still very much getting started and it will probably take the rest of 2004 before we are properly up and running in anything like the way we envision.

Where ...?

Clifton Road, naturally. Surprisingly close to the centre of Exeter - about 300 yards from the central Bus Station - but, for fairly obvious financial reasons, we are definitely off the high-street.

In reality it's a fairly simple choice: Open in a highly visible location and get a property the size of a small wardrobe for your money ...or... Open in an unfashionable back street with space for the shop, a 700sq.ft. games area and room for expansion.
