1st July 2008
From the beginning of July 2008 we are adjusting the way that we provide goods by mail order. In short:
The intention is quite simply to close the gap (real or perceived) between games store and on-line pricing. Hopefully encouraging people to visit the shop and participate in a larger gaming community.
We will continue to sell only from actual stock available in-store and no money will ever be taken (or payment details requested) for goods that are not available for despatch. Please note that the shopping cart continues only to accept orders and that payment must be made separately (on-line or by phone) once availability is confirmed.
It is currently my intention to add a feature to the shopping cart so that it adds a basic P&P calculation based on actual weight of goods. The change over is inevitably going to be a little messy, as updating all of the information on the web-site and in the shopping cart will take time. Please bear with us while we work through the process.

Please note that Clifton Road Games is a dedicated city centre* Games Store of the old-fashioned 'Bricks & Mortar' pre-internet variety. Our primary focus is the promotion of gaming as a hobby both in-store and through links with local clubs. Whilst this emphasis should not impact on quality of service, it does heavily influence the range and depth of stock carried.
* We're about 500 yards from Exeter's shiny new Princess Hay Shopping Centre... although I doubt we could afford our hundred square-metre games room if we were any closer. When ordering on-line you should receive an invoice (within one working day) confirming availability, price, payment options and any additional charges (eg. postage). As a small business, we believe it is simpler to confirm availability prior to accepting payment because in many cases a partially complete or one delayed while we obtain stock is useless to the customer. You order will be in the post either the same day or the next working day (depending on the time we receive your payment).
Where items are listed for sale on this web-site, there should (in most cases) be at least one in stock.
Items listed as 'sold out' are those that we do not currently have in stock and are not currently able to obtain from our distributors.
