Sunday, 3rd April 2011 (11am-6pm) @ Clifton Road Games, Exeter.

Held each year, National Championships are the highest level competition for a particular country. In 2011, players from 69 countries will compete in Magic: The Gathering National Championships for the right to represent their countries at the 2011 World Championships held in San Francisco, USA on November 17-20, 2011.

Nationals Invitations

One invitation to the UK Nationals is available for every eight players playing in the Qualifier.

Invitations:

8-15 players	1st Place
16-23 players	1st-2nd Place
24-31 players	1st-3rd Place
32-39 players	1st-4th Place
40-47 players	1st-5th Place
48 players	1st-6th Place

*** IMPORTANT ***

Players already in receipt of a Nationals Invitation via another Nationals Qualifier event are not eligible to enter this tournament.

Nationals Invitations based on player ranking are not calculated until May and current rankings have no bearing on your eligibility for this Qualifier event.

Registration

Places are limited (48 players). Please contact the venue in advance and/or sign-up via the Facebook event (search: MTG Exeter).

Food & Drink

Refreshments are permitted in the games room, although players should eat and drink between matches rather than during games.

Soft drinks are available at the shop. Food is available from a local convenience store, chip shop or Chinese take-away (all within 100-200 yards of the shop).

2011 National Championships

Closed Nationals Information:

• All closed Nationals require an invitation to participate. Complete invitation criteria can be found in the Premier Event Invitation Policy (located in the Magic Document Center).
• All closed Nationals have rating-based invitations (UK = 75 places). Those invitations are based on the ratings published on 18th May, 2011. Those invitations will not be officially awarded until 1st June, 2011.
• All closed Nationals award Pro Points to the top finishers.
