Magic: The Gathering TCG
'RISE OF THE ELDRAZI' Launch Party
Saturday, 24th April 2010 @ Clifton Road Games, Exeter
Times:
- Open ... 10:00am
- Sealed Deck Tournament(s): 8+ players, 6 Booster packs each... from 11:00am
- Booster Draft Tournament(s): 8+ players, 3 booster packs each... from 11:00am
- Close ... 8:00pm
- Other events and extended hours as time and numbers permit.
Rise of the Eldrazi booster packs = £3.00 each

Prerelease Main Event Tournament Format & Structure
- All Rise of the Eldrazi Prerelease Tournaments will be run using Sealed Deck format, with each player receiving 6 Rise of the Eldrazi booster packs to build a deck
- Prerelease Tournaments are run using Swiss rounds, with a minimum of four rounds per event. (Tournaments with only 8 players may run three rounds.)
Launch Party Prizes
- Each participant will receive 1x ??? promo card (while supplies last)

In addition to the main Tournament event: Open Dueling, Booster Draft, and additional Sealed Deck public events.
Open Dueling — Open Dueling is a casual format primarily for players not participating in the main Prerelease Tournament. Open Dueling players receive 1 Rise of the Eldrazi Intro Pack chosen at random and 1 ??? promo card (while supplies last). Open Dueling players play against other Open Dueling participants as well as main tournament players who are between matches. After an Open Dueling participant has played five matches, upon confirmation of the results by the event organizer that player will receive one complimentary booster pack provided by the organizer as a prize.
Booster Draft — Players participating in a booster draft event should each receive 3 Rise of the Eldrazi booster packs. (Other product mixes are allowable as long as each player in the event receives the same number and type of packs.) Players wishing to play in a booster draft using the 3 boosters received as prizes from the main tournament, will be allowed to do so.
Sealed Deck — As with the main Prerelease Tournament event, each player in a Sealed Deck event will receive 6 Rise of the Eldrazi booster packs to build a deck. |
Soft drinks are available in-store. We have a deal with the local Pizza Hut and will probably be ordering pizza at some point during the day.
