Cutthroat Caverns, one of our most critically acclaimed titles, is a devious, semi-cooperative, emotionally-charged game of betrayal and “kill stealing” in a classic fantasy setting, where you decide how hard or light to strike to assure you land the killing blow. But mess with each other too much and the whole party will die, without a winner.
This Anniversary Edition is a beautifully envisioned reboot, upgrading the art, materials and rules set - and is fully compatible with all 5 existing expansion games.
Game Enhancements include: streamlined rules & keywords, a new Epic Finish mechanic, variable game lengths (30, 60 and 90 minutes), enhanced Encounter stats, the addition of all new Relic cards to the base game, 2 new Encounters, and materials improvements including dual layer player boards and upgraded art and graphics
The real joy of the game is the delicate balance between helping the party (and staying alive) vs working towards your own selfish goals (and risking the welfare of everyone). There are no dice. Each Turn, you will choose how much damage you are willing to do to the monster- or won't do -
as you jockey for position to land the killing blow. And when characters can make that kind of decision, things get very funny & very deadly - very quickly.
With 27 encounters, all requiring a different group strategy and separate individual strategy, game play is always challenging. Only 9 random encounters are used in any game, so the experience is always different. With fresh new mechanics built into each expansion and a creature pool now over 100 strong - there is always a new adventure ahead. And they become deadlier as we go.

Delivery
At this time delivery is only available to UK destinations: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. We DO NOT ship internationally.
Standard delivery is by:
- Royal Mail, 1st class (Signed For) - Est. 1-3 days - for parcels up to 2kg.
- Parcelforce 48 - Est. 2-3 days - for parcels over 2kg (or too large for the Post Office 'Small Parcel' size).
Note: Delivery is expected within 2 working days of collection, which is usually the day after booking.
P&P is not usually charged¹ for orders over £34.93 (eg. 7 items @ £4.99).
Below the free postage threshold, P&P is set at £5.99 (or £3.99 for items small enough to be sent at the current 'Large Letter' rate).
Parcels will usually be despatched on the next working day - Tuesday to Friday - after payment has been accepted and availability confirmed. Some items are subject to additional P&P charges.
Important Notes:
- Additional P&P charges may apply to unusually large, heavy or valuable items.
- It is not usually possible for us to despatch items on Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
- Due to post office and/or legal restrictions, some items (eg. Aerosol Paints, Craft Knives) are only available in-store. These items are listed online only to indicate their availability/price.

Returns
Unless agreed in writing by Clifton Road Games, all returns are at the customer's own risk and expense.
Please contact Clifton Road Games (by phone or email) prior to returning any items in order that neither party is put to unnecessary expense or inconvenience.
FINAL SALE items are not eligible for customer return. This category is generally reserved for products with unknown/random "collectible" content (eg. Trading Card Game Booster Packs), as well as some clearance items.
