- Coordinate with your Ally to draft cards during Peacetime
- Strategize against your enemy to draft Mercenaries during Skirmishes
- At the end of three escalating drafts, go to War with your Enemy and compete to complete quests for gold and glory.
- After three Wars, score points as a team – share in victory (or defeat) with your Ally.
Eight Nations, Each a Unique Experience – Each nation has a different focus and playstyle, with their own troops and defenses, as well as unique art. The Orcs of Ud have strong but impulsive warriors, while the Risen use magic and sheer numbers to overwhelm their enemies. Will they combine their strengths as Allies or attack their weaknesses as Enemies? Thousands of combinations are possible.
One Ally, One Enemy – You will only be drafting cards with the players to your left and right (your Ally and Enemy), though your decisions and the outcomes of your battles will have ripple effects around the table. You’ll be surprised by what units you can take as spoils – drafting across rounds may send a single Unit on a long journey!
Simultaneous Turns for Shorter Play – Peacetime, Skirmishes, and War happen simultaneously for all players, reducing the time each round takes. Even a game of 8 players (or more with multiple copies of the game!) can be a surprisingly fast affair.
Play in Pairs or with a Mercenary Nation – While Ettin is built around alliances, it works just as well with an odd number of players – one player doubles their nation’s size with additional recruits from the shared Mercenary deck. You’ll never be the odd-Orc-out with a band of mercenaries on your side.

Delivery
At this time delivery is only available to UK destinations: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. We DO NOT ship internationally.
Standard delivery is by:
- Royal Mail, 1st class (Signed For) - Est. 1-3 days - for parcels up to 2kg.
- Parcelforce 48 - Est. 2-3 days - for parcels over 2kg (or too large for the Post Office 'Small Parcel' size).
Note: Delivery is expected within 2 working days of collection, which is usually the day after booking.
P&P is not usually charged¹ for orders over £34.93 (eg. 7 items @ £4.99).
Below the free postage threshold, P&P is set at £5.99 (or £3.99 for items small enough to be sent at the current 'Large Letter' rate).
Parcels will usually be despatched on the next working day - Tuesday to Friday - after payment has been accepted and availability confirmed. Some items are subject to additional P&P charges.
Important Notes:
- Additional P&P charges may apply to unusually large, heavy or valuable items.
- It is not usually possible for us to despatch items on Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

Unless agreed in writing by Clifton Road Games, all returns are at the customer's own risk and expense.
Please contact Clifton Road Games (by phone or email) prior to returning any items in order that neither party is put to unnecessary expense or inconvenience.
