SMASH UP: THE OBLIGATORY CTHULHU SET
Just when you thought Smash Up might escape… the International Gaming Authority reminded us we were honoräóïbound to include Cthulhu in one of our products. So we set on to make the Cthulhuäóïest product ever which you will soon hold in your hands.
Smash Up: The Obligatory Cthulhu Set features crazy Cthulhu cultists, fishy Innsmouth locals, horrifying Elder Things, and good old Miskatonic University members (the Fightin’ Cephalopods). To be certain we got it right, this set also includes a new card type fittingly known as “Madness”, that each of these groups use to various effects. But remember that Madness brings you power but at a price (joking!).
If you’re ready to embrace the creatures beyond the understanding of mortal men, then shuffle up these guys with your pirates, bear cavalry, and others for the most awesome fit of crazed insanity you’ve had in a long time!

Elder Things – From reaches beyond space and time come these incredible horrors, bent on… bent on… well we really don’t know, do we? Every time we learn a little bit, we go nuts. Perhaps its the madness they cause that gives them power after all…
Innsmouth – Ah Innsmouth, idyllic little fishing village on the New England coast. Sample their excellent seafood. Become their excellent seafood! That’s right, you too can become a fish and live with Dagon below the depths. They may look like simple mutants, but in great numbers and with great power the residents of Innsmouth will welcome you into the fold. Or else.
Miskatonic University – Go ‘Pods! Go ‘Pods! Welcome to your first days at Miskatonic University! We will shape you into a student of the sciences both natural and… otherwise. Certainly our courses seem intense, but there always has to be a small sacrifice for knowledge. “Ex Ignorantia Ad Sapientiam; E Luce Ad Tenebras.”
Combine these groups into teams of two for various effects! Smash Up: The Obligatory Cthulhu Set also contains 8 new Base cards to compete over.
Delivery
At this time delivery is only available to UK destinations: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. We DO NOT ship internationally.
Standard delivery is by:
- Royal Mail, 1st class (Signed For) - Est. 1-3 days - for parcels up to 2kg.
- Parcelforce 48 - Est. 2-3 days - for parcels over 2kg (or too large for the Post Office 'Small Parcel' size).
Note: Delivery is expected within 2 working days of collection, which is usually the day after booking.
P&P is not usually charged¹ for orders over £34.93 (eg. 7 items @ £4.99).
Below the free postage threshold, P&P is set at £5.99 (or £3.99 for items small enough to be sent at the current 'Large Letter' rate).
Parcels will usually be despatched on the next working day - Tuesday to Friday - after payment has been accepted and availability confirmed. Some items are subject to additional P&P charges.
Important Notes:
- Additional P&P charges may apply to unusually large, heavy or valuable items.
- It is not usually possible for us to despatch items on Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
- Due to post office and/or legal restrictions, some items (eg. Aerosol Paints, Craft Knives) are only available in-store. These items are listed online only to indicate their availability/price.

Returns
Unless agreed in writing by Clifton Road Games, all returns are at the customer's own risk and expense.
Please contact Clifton Road Games (by phone or email) prior to returning any items in order that neither party is put to unnecessary expense or inconvenience.
FINAL SALE items are not eligible for customer return. This category is generally reserved for products with unknown/random "collectible" content (eg. Trading Card Game Booster Packs), as well as some clearance items.
